30 Day Blog Challenge: Creativity

Creativity is a fickle beast. Sometimes you go weeks without a “good idea” and other times you’re thankful you keep a notepad next to your bed for those 3am epiphanies. Creativity is inspired by any number of sources: exercise, silence, music, fresh air, or cooking. It can’t be defined or manufactured. The only constant with creativity is that it manifests in a uniquely personal way for each individual. There is no blueprint.

So, for the next 30 days I will be challenging my creative self to post at least once every single day. The goal is to produce content that varies from the traditional posts published here and focus more on raw ideas. On sustaining creativity. I want to focus creative energy into producing something tangible, more than just an idea in my head or a scribble on a crumpled napkin, and to do that every day for 30 days.

I’ll experiment with memes, image-based content, interactive, humor, advice, tips & tricks, and other resources. Content may be produced for a specific social channel or may not be promoted via social at all, but once a day it will be published to this site.

My hope is that in 30 days I’ll have a broader understanding of the concept of sustained creativity and maybe, just maybe, learn a little bit more about how to harness it.
